The first contemporary political comic book in Greece with Yanis Varoufakis as a political superhero. A political comic book that depicts the first chapter of the European drama, which is still unfolding without end in sight and has a tremendous impact on the lives of the people of Europe.
Ariadni Krissa Kousela’s field of expertise is in Film and Audiovisual studies. She studied in Greece and at Paris III of Sorbonne. She learned about visual syntax and the composition of image through the art of cinema and painting. Attached to her love for animation is also her love for sketches/cartoons and the world of comics. Her short film animation has been awarded in Greece and has participated in competitions abroad. She is now a PhD candidate in the Film department at the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She thinks and communicates through images, even when she envisions, demands and pursues a more democratic world.
Aris (Gregoris) Papadopoulos studied at Athens’ Law School, in the Politics department. He then moved to Chicago and New York where he became a journalist for the National Herald of New York. For the last 20 years, he has been living in Athens where he likes to “fight” with power.
Dimitris Sotirakis was born in Athens. He developed his passion and talent for sketching/cartooning/drawing when he studied at Ornerakis School. In 2014, he was awarded in the competition, Young Designer Contest, and in 2015 he received second prize in the 3rd National Cartoon Competition.
