Vagelis Iliopoulos

Vagelis Iliopoulos was born in Athens in 1964. He studied Pedagogics and Theology at the University of Athens. He has been working in the primary school field since 1984. He has written numerous books for children and young adults and has received many awards. His books have been translated in several languages (Italian, German, Catalan, English, Turkish, Korean, Chinese, Serbian). He lives in Athens with his wife and two children.

New Chinese editions for our picture books!

Four picture books illustrated by Effie Lada have just been published by the Chinese publisher Shanghai 99 Culture Consulting CO.! Three stories based on traditional tales, "Teardrop's Feat", "The Tower Manuscripts" and "Mary and the Sugarplum Man" by author Athina Biniou, and "The Birthday of the Infanta", Oscar Wilde's story retold by the illustrator.
