When His Lowness the famous King Half-Pint decides he wants to get married there’s only one thing to be done: A ball must be arranged, and all the eligible daughters of kings and nobles be invited to vie for his hand, and the queenhood. King Half-Pint carefully handwrites every single invite but, absorbed as he is by his task, he fails to notice that one of the invitation has been blown away by the wind, and it travels through the air until it reaches the garden of the witch Badhair and her daughter Rosie.

At the ball, the king and Rosie fall in love at first sight, but there are obstacles that they need to overcome, and for once, they have nothing to do with King Half-Pint’s height. Lord Backstab and his daughter, Lady Snob are there and they have a contract signed by King Half-Pint’s father, that says that Half-Pint is betrothed to Lady Snob!

It soon becomes apparent, however, that they are not there for the right reasons. Trying to free himself from this mess, force the two schemers into a confession, and manage to propose to Rosie, King Half-Pint is surely going to enjoy an interesting couple of days and discover a great, great treasure.
