Kalliopi Sfaellou was born in Alexandria in 1912, and since 1931 she was living in Athens. Six years later she began working for magazines and in 1957 she published her first children’s book. The author has been awarded for her work with the “Pinelopi Delta” Award by the Greek Section of IBBY.
