Stratos Gazis is an incorruptible “carer” in love. He doesn't like being called “hitman”. He takes care of things said in whisper; things said like well-paid orders. People who say them want them done but don't want to know how they are done. Stratos is their man on one condition: his research must conclude the necessity of murder. He says: “I'm like Robin Hood. I steal from the villains. I steal their lives”. Now, in the melancholy winter that makes life in Athens insufferable, Stratos gets involved with the most beloved public solicitor, well-known for his help to the needy, and his wife, an actress and a model, the most desirable woman in the country. Both want to hire Stratos and he has to discover who tells the truth and whom he has to “take care of”. Fortunately, Stratos is being helped by three childhood friends: Dragg (the chief of the Homicide Squad in Athens), Maria (with whom they are both in love) and Terry (a call-girl with a golden heart and a terrible punch). But as Stratos is delving deeper and deeper into the case, he finds out that truth between estranged lovers and families with lots of skeletons in their closets, is quite relative and quite ambiguous.
