Solon and Croesus: The Sage and the King

Galatia Grigoriadou – Soureli was born in Kavala. She studied at the School of Social Work and at the School of Journalism. Her first book was published in 1954. Ever since she is primarily occupied with writing children’s literature. Some of her works have also been presented on radio and in theatre. Her books have been awarded many prizes and two of them have been included in the honor list of the University of Padova and the Honor list of IBBY. In 1991 she was the Greek candidate for the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
