Apostolis is a little boy who could be anyone’s child. He grows up in an adult world, which he ceaselessly observes with the open eyes of his heart, imagination, and his alert mind. He reveals the adults’ weaknesses, their contradictions, and mistakes. His apparently naïve words reveal an acute sense of truth and make him the most valuable and simple-hearted judge of those he loves and trusts. Apostolis freely shares the colourful bustle of his childish thoughts: He talks about his own complaints and jealousies; he laughs at his mistakes and the adults’ weaknesses, and explores the boundaries between dreams and reality. He sees and feels everything deeply because of the power of the most beautiful period in people’s lives – childhood.
