Katerina and the Invisible Friend

Maro Loizou (1940-2007) was born in Athens. She married the composer Manos Loizos in 1965. Her series, Katerina and the invisible one, has been translated into Dutch. Maro Loizou has been awarded Greek and international prizes. She was the Greek nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 1998. Since 1966 she has written children’s fictions and worked as a television and radio producer.
