Dreams Made of Silk

Litsa Psarafti was born in Samos and lives in Athens. She worked at the consulate and the translating department of the American Embassy. She has traveled throughout the world and her travels have been her source of inspiration for many of her works. Her books have been awarded prizes at Pan-Hellenic and international competitions. In 1995, she was awarded the State Prize for Children’s Literature and in 2000 she was nominee for Hans Christian Andersen Award.
