Evgenios Trivizas is a lawyer, a graduate of the Law School at the University of Athens, with a Master of Laws (University College) and a PhD in Law by the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Senior Research Fellow of the University of London. He teaches Criminology and Comparative Criminal Law at the Reading University and he is also the Director for Criminal Justice Studies there. He has also taught at the Bramshill Police College, The Central London Polytechnic and the London School of Economics. Since 1993 to 1998 he’s been a lecturer of Criminology at the Panteio University of Athens. He has written over a hundred books for children, just the one book for adults, and over twenty theatrical plays. He has received numerous awards and great acclaim for his work: Awards by the Greek section of IBBY, the Parents Choice Amazing Accomplishment Award, the Shefficedls children’s Book Award Commendation, the Massachussets Children’s Choice Award, and many more.
