Once There Was a Dream

Once there was...

a girl who dreamt of living in a palace

and a boy who dreamt of being a magician.

Once there was...

a bear who dreamt of travelling on a ship

and a penguin who dreamt of being a lion. 

Once there was...

a bee who dreamt of becoming a sculptor 

and an old car who dreamt of going on one more ride.

Once there was a dream

that wanted to become reality.

It met with obstacles, found itself at a dead end

and sometimes it got lost entirely.  But one day
