James Caroon is a Giant hunter by profession. Until one day, his partner, Princess Melodee, disappears and everything suggests she has been kidnapped. Dimitris Melicertes

Dimitris Melicertes was born in 1988 in Athens. After reading Greek Philology at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, he studied the MA in Writing at the University of Warwick, during which time he also taught the subject.

He lives in London, where he recently finished the PhD in Creative Writing and Practice-based Research at Royal Holloway, University of London. He has translated from English into Greek three children’s books by Leila Rasheed (The Fantastic Diaries of Bathsheba Clarice de Trop, Usborne). Short stories and poems of his have been published in anthologies, online and on his website at www.dmelicertes.com, while in 2013 he was shortlisted for the Cowley Literary Award in Australia. The Giant Hunter is his first book, published in Greece by Patakis Publishers (May 2017).

Three stories based on traditional tales, "Teardrop's Feat", "The Tower Manuscripts" and "Mary and the Sugarplum Man" by author Athina Biniou, and "The Birthday of the Infanta", Oscar Wilde's story retold by the illustrator.
