Alexandra Mitsiali was born and raised on Corfu. When she finished school, she moved to Thessaloniki for her studies in Literature and she continues to live there today. She works as a teacher in a secondary school and she writes books for adults and children. She is the mother of two lovely daughters.

ILLUSTRATOR

Vaso Psaraki

Vaso Psaraki was born in Athens. She studied at the Vakalo Open College of Fine Arts and was involved in graphic arts. She has devoted herself to the illustration of children's books since 1978. She has illustrated more than 50 children's books to date. She has been awarded the State Prize for Children's Book Illustration as well as the Prize for the Greek Section of IBBY.

New Chinese editions for our picture books!

Four picture books illustrated by Effie Lada have just been published by the Chinese publisher Shanghai 99 Culture Consulting CO.! Three stories based on traditional tales, "Teardrop's Feat", "The Tower Manuscripts" and "Mary and the Sugarplum Man" by author Athina Biniou, and "The Birthday of the Infanta", Oscar Wilde's story retold by the illustrator.
